Fire devastated the Woodland Heights area west of Estes Park on June 23, 2012, destroying more than 20 homes. Many of the homeowners are in the process of rebuilding.

Woodland Heights area being rebuilt
Over 20 homes were destroyed June 23, 2012 when fire raged through the Woodland Heights area west of downtown Estes Park. A number of new homes are going up in the area as homeowners rebuild.
